Tomorrow the window opens for our mClass assessments, which measure our students growth in Reading. Please ensure that your students are in bed early and on time for school. Our Scholastic book fair is open this week. If you'd like to shop with your student, you may come at 7:30am tomorrow morning. Students will have to opportunity to shop daily this week. This week is also Teacher Appreciation Week. If you'd like to do something nice for your child's teacher, please do so. They work hard daily to ensure your students success. Thursday is set aside to appreciate our Instructional Assistants, so don't forget to show them some love as well. Thank you for your continued support as we make this the Greatest Show Ever. Good afternoon Jaguar cubs families. This is Mrs. Gorham, principal of Fairview Elementary. I want to share some important reminders about field day tomorrow. Field day will be held from 9 - 11:30 for all grade levels. Students who ordered them will receive their t-shirts tomorrow morning prior to field day and will wear them home after. The Fairview PTO and Cummins will provide food for all students. Webbies will be open for snow cone purchases at field day. Snow cones are $3 each. If you wish to sign your child out after field day is over, you may do so by signing them out with the teacher. You must be listed in Powerschool and provide your ID. The Scholastic Book Fair will be open tomorrow morning prior to Field Day from 8:00-9 and after the field day ends book fair will remain open until about 1pm. Make sure someone is in place to pick up your student or receive your student at bus stops and crosswalks. Also, Bus 330 does not have a driver today. These students will need to be car riders.

Field day is scheduled for May 3, 2024. Field day tshirts and snow cone order are being accepted. Please send $10 along with the order form with your students size to school by Friday. It's an exciting time for our Jaguar Cubs to recharge and enjoy some quality time with family and friends. This week we're hosting a dress-down fundraiser. If you'd like your child to participate and enjoy some treats from our snack cart, they're welcome to dress out of uniform. It's a fantastic opportunity for our students to show off their personal style! Parents, mark your calendars for Monday, March 25th. Report cards will be sent home, providing valuable insights into your child's progress and achievements. We encourage you to take some time to review and celebrate their growth! Get ready to say cheese! Tuesday will be our picture day, featuring both individual and group snapshots. Uniforms are not required for these pictures, so let your child's personality shine through. Thursday will mark the end of our school week before the break. Students will bid farewell to say see you later to their classrooms and teachers until we return on Monday, April 8th, refreshed and ready for more learning adventures.
